Sister Sin – Chaos Royale – Video Single Review

Review Tom Coombs

The four piece old-school heavy metal outfit from Gothenburg, Sweden are back with their fourth studio album ‘Black Lotus’ I checked out the new video for ‘Chaos Royale’.  Released exclusively through VEVO, the video showcases there new album with a hard hitting classic heavy rock track.

The band is fronted by Liv Jagrell on vocals she is joined by Jimmy Hiltula (guitar), Strandh (bass) and Dave Sundberg (drums) and what a group they make.  If you like your music heavy then this is for you.  We are not in thrash styles here, this is hard and heavy rock like the old days but with a slightly more modern twist.

‘Chaos’ Royale’ starts with a very infectious guitar riff which the whole track follows; it is heavy and delivered with perfection.  Liv’s vocals kick in and you are dragged back to the golden days of heavy metal.  It has head banging anthem styles that will pull in many new fans I am sure.  The video shows Liv as a dictator style character ordering her porcelain masked minions.  The whole thing is a great introduction to the new album.

Every part of this track is brought straight into your dark side, I for one am a new fan and will be getting hold of the new album ‘Black Lotus’ which is out now on Victory Records.

4 Stars - Heavy and extreme is a good way
