Shane Henry & Maggie McClure – Christmastime Again – Single Review

Review by Tom Coombs

Tis’ the season to be jolly, as Santa is coming to town so we got all festive at GBM HQ and what a great way to do this by reviewing our first Christmas song.

LA based singer songwriters Shane Henry and Maggie McClure have joined forces to record and release “ChristmasTime Again”.  The classic sound doo wop styled song really shows the talents of the duo along with giving a real Christmas message and within the lyrics are the titles of well known Noel songs and hymns.

Shane and Maggie have worked together before, from recording to writing throughout their individual careers.  Shane has opened for acts Etta James and Joe Bonamassa among others and Maggie has opened for Tony Luca and Alicia Witt for a couple of examples and together they have sung the National Anthem and a holiday half time show at Madison Square Garden for the New York Knicks in December 2015.

This song has Christmas screaming all over it, it feel good, happy and cheesy all together.  And I for one love it, the musical talent is enough to tap your feet away and this time of year you want a happy sounding well rounded Christmas song.

4 Bells – A rocking and rolling Christmassy 4 bells of Joy
